Connie Pappas: Connie has been a real estate professional for 33 years in Huntington, WV. Though she has just recently relocated to Barefoot Resort, Connie has owned real estate in the Myrtle Beach area for 25 years. She enjoys playing golf with the Barefoot Ladies and singing in the North Myrtle Community Choir. She attends Trinity Methodist Church.

Anastasiya Genevro: Anastasiya immigrated to the US from Belarus, Eastern Europe, in June 2004, after completing 3 years of education at the Academy of Management in her home country. She has been a Banquet Coordinator at the Dye Club for the past 5 years. Anastasiya started her real estate career in September 2010. She is fluent in English and Russian. She and her husband, Dave, are Barefoot Resort property owners.

Barefoot Resort is a beautifully planned community. I have lived all over the country and I am really excited about being your Barefoot Resort neighbor and a part of the Century 21 Barefoot team.

I don't need to tell you the last couple years has been challenging for residential real estate. Almost every market, type of property, and price range has been impacted by the decline in values. We have seen in some markets an unprecedented number of foreclosures and distressed property transactions. Some geographical areas have been impacted more than others.

The Barefoot Resort homeowners have been impacted by this recession. However, the challenges at this resort have not been as severe as some markets. The diversity of price ranges, types of dwellings, and the quality of the resort have all worked and will continue to work to our advantage.

Some positives to consider: our market has historically low interest rates, the values, and selection of properties. There has been a dramatic increase in activity and property closings since the beginning of 2010.
